The personal computer market offers various pre-built options for gamers seeking high-performance hardware. Newegg is currently selling the ABS Stratos II Ruby for $2,549.99. This price represents a reduction of $450 from the standard list price for the unit.

The system is built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card. It includes 32GB of DDR5 memory. ABS is a private brand owned by Newegg, which explains why its products are frequently featured on the retailer's website. The Stratos II Ruby is currently the lowest-priced RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC available on the Newegg platform. Tom's Hardware anticipates that the inventory will sell out rapidly due to the competitive pricing.

The Ryzen 7 9800X3D is an eight-core chip that utilizes AMD's 3D V-Cache technology. This design increases the L3 cache size to 96MB. A larger cache allows the processor to access data more quickly, reducing latency and helping to maintain stable frame rates. While the chip is no longer the absolute top performer in benchmark tests, it remains very close to the leaders. No Intel processor currently matches the gaming performance of an X3D chip according to the review outlet.

The RTX 5070 Ti is a current-generation Nvidia Blackwell card equipped with 8,960 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 video memory. It is designed for mid- to high-tier gaming at 1440p and 4K resolutions. The card supports DLSS with multi-frame generation. In practical use, the hardware can handle 4K gaming with ray tracing in current titles. Players may need to adjust settings in the most demanding games, but the 16GB of video memory provides more capacity than the 8GB found in lower-end models like the RTX 5060 and RTX 5050.

The remaining components include two 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB memory modules running at 6,000 MT/s. Storage is provided by a 2TB Team Group NV5000 M.2 SSD with Gen 4 speeds. This drive offers sufficient space for multiple large game installations. The system features Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and Ethernet connectivity. A Bitspower 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler manages the processor's heat.

Tom's Hardware described the current pricing as strong for the market. The assessment cited the $450 discount and the specific combination of the 9800X3D processor and RTX 5070 Ti graphics card as key factors.
