Best Buy reduced the price of the Acer Predator XB27OU by $50 on October 23, 2026. The 27-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor now costs $329.99. This price point targets gamers considering a switch from IPS panels to OLED technology.
The display utilizes a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel with a maximum resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. This resolution, known as QHD or 2K, aligns with mid-range gaming PCs. The specification allows graphics cards to meet frame rate and resolution demands without excessive strain.
Speed defines the monitor's performance. It operates at a 240Hz refresh rate. The gray-to-gray response time measures 0.03ms. OLED technology enables this rapid response. The combination produces smooth motion and eliminates the ghosting common on slower displays.
The screen supports AMD's FreeSync Premium. This feature synchronizes the monitor's refresh rate with the game's frame output. The synchronization removes screen tearing. The result is a more stable visual experience for the player.
Color performance distinguishes QD-OLED panels. The XB27OU covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Its Delta E accuracy figure stays below 2. The monitor also supports HDR10. This 10-bit standard enhances contrast, color depth, and brightness relative to standard dynamic range. The technology delivers deep blacks and strong contrast.
Connection options include two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 port. These inputs allow users to connect a gaming PC and multiple game consoles to the same screen. The hardware supports versatile setup configurations.
Tom's Hardware identifies the discount as an opportunity to adopt current display technology at a lower cost. The monitor is available at Best Buy for $329.99.
