Consumer electronics pricing shifted on October 23 as Soundcore reduced the cost of its Space 2 noise-canceling headphones. The new price point stands at $106.49. This figure represents a $23 discount off the standard list price.

The sale is currently active at three major retailers: Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. Shoppers can choose from all three available color options at this reduced rate. The pricing data confirms this is the lowest price recorded for the Space 2 since its release.

The Space 2 serves as the successor to the Space One. John Higgins of The Verge identified the original Space One as a top-tier budget option when it launched in 2023. The newer model retains the core design philosophy of its predecessor while introducing technical upgrades. However, the standard list price for the Space 2 is $30 higher than that of the original Space One.

Primary improvements focus on audio performance. The new unit suppresses low-frequency sounds more effectively, targeting noise from sources like train tracks and airplane engines. Soundcore also implemented design changes that result in more accurate sound reproduction compared to the first generation.

Key features from the previous model remain intact. The headphones support high-resolution LDAC audio and integrate with HearID 3.0. This software tool personalizes the listening experience by having the user respond to specific audio samples, allowing the device to adjust output accordingly.

Battery life has increased in both usage modes. With active noise cancellation enabled, the Space 2 runs for up to 50 hours, an increase from the 40 hours offered by the earlier model. When noise cancellation is disabled, the battery lasts up to 70 hours, up from the previous 55-hour mark.

The device includes a 3.5mm jack for wired connectivity if the battery depletes. An automatic pause feature stops playback when the headphones are removed from the head, allowing users to resume exactly where they left off. The Verge characterizes the Space 2 as an easy recommendation due to these enhancements.
