Bryant Park in Midtown Manhattan opened the Bank of America Winter Village on Wednesday, October 28, marking the start of the city's winter season. The venue, located between 40th and 42nd Streets on Sixth Avenue, has hosted seasonal events for more than 20 years. The 2026 iteration combines ice skating, retail shopping, and dining in a single outdoor complex.

The centerpiece of the village is The Rink, one of the largest ice skating facilities in New York City. Admission to the ice is free for all visitors. While skating itself does not cost money, visitors must pay to rent skates and use other services. The facility opens daily, including holidays. Group lessons for beginners are available on weekday afternoons and weekend mornings.

Bank of America cardholders receive a 10 percent discount on skate rentals if they book using their specific cards. The rink operates under a standard schedule, though specific hours and pricing details are posted on the official website, WinterVillage.org.

The Holiday Shops by Urbanspace occupies the retail section of the park. The market features more than 180 vendors selling handmade gifts, jewelry, home decor, and gourmet food items. The shops operate daily from October 28, 2026, through January 3, 2027. Vendors offer products from small businesses and independent creators, providing an alternative to large chain stores. Foot traffic is expected to be highest on weekends and in the weeks leading up to the holidays.

The Lodge provides a dining option adjacent to the ice rink. The venue features two full-service bars and serves seasonal plates, hot beverages, and exclusive cocktails. The space is designed for visitors to rest and warm up before or after skating. It offers a setting for groups to gather while watching skaters on the ice.

Family-oriented activities are scheduled for late November and December. Club Santa combines premium skating benefits, including skate rental and concierge service, with holiday activities. The package includes one-on-one time with Santa Claus, festive treats, and crafts in the Polar Lounge. Tickets for Club Santa are available for November 28 and 29, as well as December 5 and 6.

Santa's Corner offers free outdoor photo opportunities with Santa from December 14 to 18. Visitors can use seasonal props for their pictures. The event does not require tickets and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Organizers recommend arriving early to avoid lines, particularly for families with children.

The complex is located at 10018 in New York, New York. Each area of the village, including The Rink, The Holiday Shops, and The Lodge, maintains its own operating schedule. Visitors can check current hours, prices, and ticket availability on WinterVillage.org. Updates and program changes are also posted on the Instagram account @bryantparknyc.
